We have met on Facebook during our au pair adventures. We did rematch more than once.
Each of our experiences taught us how to deal better with the host family and the agency in situations.
We are from France, Brazil, Mexico and Germany. We are from everywhere.
We would like every au pair to be treated well as agencies have promised.
We created Express Yourself Aupair to help you, to support you and to represent you.

OUR TEAM
Ary L.
Founder & President
Former au pair in USA. I've had three different host families, in New York City, Washington DC and Portland in Oregon. I'm French and I used to live in Canada before going to USA. I studied Accounting, Marketing and Management. I now live in Aix-en-Provence in the south of France where I work in digital marketing.
In January 2017, I decided to create Express Yourself Aupair (EYA) because of the lack of empathy of au pairs agencies. I believe that every au pair needs support and to be heard.
"I'm an au pair and I matter".

I was an aupair for one year in Santa Cruz, California. Despite of few conflicts with my host dad, my year went very well and I enjoyed my stay. I had (still have) a strong relationship with my host kids. Unfortunately, I saw so many of my au pairs friends that I met being treated very badly by their host families. So, I decided it was time to do something about it. I am currently studying International Business Management in Bordeaux (France) and this cause is really important to me.

I'm 18 and I come from France. Currently, I'm studying Social Economy and will be becoming an au pair this year, 2017 hopefully. I have come to join Express Yourself Aupair because the last 4+ years, waiting to become an au pair, have taught me many things like the legal aspects as well as the need to help and encourage people. Joining EYA is just the continuation of what I have enjoyed doing in the past, helping others and guiding them through a difficult time.

I'm 23, German. I'm an occupational therapist and a paramedic. I live and work since a year in Washington DC area. I'm here with ProAuPair, they offer professional au pairs for families with special needs. I extended for one year and I'm happy with my host family. With a friend, I founded the group Au Pair Activities Bethesda, a group for new au pairs to meet up. By joining EYA, I will be there to help you, to have a call with you if necessary and to make awareness about some realities au pairs are going through. If you got further questions, just ask. :)

I have been an au pair for 12 months in the USA, I've lived with four different families. Two in California, one in Georgia and one in Virginia. I've traveled to 12 states and I've made many friends. I met Ary at the trainee session. I'm from São Paulo, Brazil, where I currently live and I graduated in International Business. When Ary came with this project I had no doubts it will help so many au pairs all around the world. I'm so thankful for taking part of it. I truly believe we are able to share amazing experiences we've had over there. Don't hesitate in asking for help, we're here for YOU because YOU matter !
